ClimateLaunchpad is Europe’s largest cleantech Business Ideas Competition. We at Eilat-Eilot are honored to have been chosen to be the Israeli group organizers.
Our mission is to unlock cleantech potential and create opportunities for innovators to address climate change in Europe. We want to accelerate innovation that enables a low-carbon future. To be able to do that, we need to find Europe’s best sustainability ideas. This competition will give us access to those ideas. ClimateLaunchpad is where our start-up creation process begins. It is a Climate-KIC Pre-Acceleration programme by the Entrepreneurship Pillar.
We are looking for people with promising cleantech ideas who dream of becoming an entrepreneur. ClimateLaunchpad is designed for people with ideas in early stages. Most likely they are not in your existing cleantech address book, but your networks may help to scout and find prospects.
Join even if it’s on the back of a Napkin!
Registration for the 2017 competition is now open.
Does your business idea tackle climate change? And do you dream of becoming an entrepreneur? Then this could be your ticket to European and global success.

Our Israeli Juries select the best proposals to join the Israeli competition phase. Those who are selected move along to the next three steps:
Step 1: Boot Camp. ClimateLaunchpad kicks off with a 2-day Boot Camp for participants in their own country. They will learn all they need to know about jumpstarting their business.
Step 2: Intensive coaching. The Boot Camp is followed-up by Coaching Sessions. Participants will learn to perfect their pitch, value their proposition and business model. After that, they’ll be ready for the National Final where they get to pitch in front of a National Jury. The Top 3 of each country enters the European Final in October 17th-18th in the Cyprus.
Step 3: European Final. The Top-3 of all National Finals get a chance to pitch their idea in front of the review board of Climate-KIC Accelerator. The top 10 teams selected in the European semi-finals to perform in the Grand Final that same day, will get direct access into Climate-KIC Accelerator without having to pitch to a review board. The overall winner of the Grand Final receives € 10,000, the runner up gets € 5,000 and the idea that comes in third place wins € 2,500.
