The McKinsey company is on of the world largest research companies. McKinsey published in April of 2012 a report suggesting that within several years, electricity produced with photovoltaic technology will reach a point where it is cheaper then fossil fuel electricity.
The main conclusion in this report, is a prediction that even after a significant drop in the photovoltaic market, that will probably include closing of a few entrepreneur companies, the solar photovoltaic market will continue to grow at a yearly rate of approx 10% until the year 2020.
