Designers Kyuho Song and Boa Oh have created a compact and innovative way to harness solar energy in a plug socket.
When you attach the plug to a window it generates solar energy which can be converted to electric energy through a converter.
This portable socket is especially useful for places with restricted use of electricity. If you are in a place with enough sunlight, such as an indoor window, a plane, a car window or outdoors you can automatically generate electricity for yourself. Once it is charged you can use it anywhere that requires electricity!
The charging capacity of this device reaches 1000mAh and after 5-8 hours of completely charging it can last for up to 10 hours. The energy is captured through solar panels that are attached to the bottom of the device. When you don’t need to use electricity you can easily turn it off at any time.
The compact and sleek design means you can carry it anywhere and hook yourself up to electricity whenever you need it!
