Kibbutz Yotvava acquired 10% of Doral Solar for 150 million NIS.
Yotvata and Doral Solar are long time associates, working together since 2008 on several local renewable energy projects. Two previuse PV projects were installed by Dorel on the Kibbutz’s cafeteria parking lot roofs and on the roof of the cowshed. Both small 50 KW systems.
In the past year Yotvata have been looking into expanding their local renewable energy income to outer Arava locations and this partnership with Doral is the key to this expanstion.
This step is another major milestone towards implementing the Eilat-Eilot vision, of using renewable energy as an additional income source for the region. We hope this partnership will be successful and will encourage similar initiatives in other Kibbutes in the Arava.
