At the height of the night, in an undisclosed location in Tel-Aviv, Electroad start-up company installed their unique system that charges electric vehicles while on the move. The experiment is managed by Prof Shlomo Bechor and Dr Arie Sides of the Technion transportation department and with the cooperation of Tel-Aviv city and its representative Mr. Guy Sarusi, and of course, the Electroad team. In this experiment 30 meters of the Electroad innovative technology was installed under the street asphalt and during the upcoming month will be tested for durability and performance in real city conditions.
Electroad are also currently building a demonstration path, that will stay uncovered (without asphalt) in our regional research and renewable energy center in Eilot.
