The report of the committee for the analysis of the circumstances surrounding the electricity crisis of the April 28, 2025.
On April 28, 2025, at 12:33:30 there was a zero voltage in the Iberian Peninsula and the disconnection of the Spanish and Portuguese electricity system from the European
interconnected system. At the same time of the incident, the declaration of an electricity crisis was made.
The Spanish Government, through the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, informed the European Commission and the French and Portuguese authorities of this electricity crisis declaration and created the "COMMITTEE FOR THE ANALYSIS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT CONCURRED IN THE ELECTRICITY CRISIS OF APRIL 28, 2025".
